Sanya Phoenix International Airport (SYX) is about 14 km west of downtown Sanya; about 32 km from Yalong Bay. Here are the airport train, metro, buses, taxis and Didi into the city, with fares, hours and how to pay with a foreign card.
Short answer: Take a taxi or DiDi to your hotel, or ride the airport bus to downtown and Yalong Bay.
Terminals: Domestic T1, T2 and T3 (T3 opened in February 2026, linked by walkways), plus a separate international terminal. International flights use the international terminal; T1, T2 and T3 are domestic.

Tips for SYX
- Most hotels are in the bays, not downtown; check the exact bay before you get a ride.
